sound
Well i think we're all on the same page here... been digging thru the BP archive for 4hrs now... and it's nice to see that with a little perseverance ...actually more than just a little... you can find some diggable quality... I'm a recording Q person, can't transcend the transistor radio quality sounds I keep running into... gotta stop gazing at the stars and just dig! 5 of em anyway! Alllll good on this one!

Wow Great Band
Brothers past is a band I have not heard very much...In the past I have thought they were good, but not that special. After hearing this show, I gotta say I m now a fan.
Their jams are out of this world......This is by far the best recording Ive heard off archive....props to the taper. Get this show if you love spaced-out improvision.

azjones..i agree with ya
so many times i downloaded a show based on reviews and the reviews were written only because the person was in attendance...very annoying.
This recording is phenomenal. crystal clear. Brothers are on point this show. The music is great and so are the vocals. defintely worth a download.

Whats Good for The Band
I wanted to give these guys a try. I searched through over 200 shows. Pleeeaase! Dont rate shows based on if you were there. We don't care. The fact that you were there does not make it worth my time or give the recording the 5 star rating. You are not doing the band a favor by rating everything a 5 stars and it mis-represents who they are. I just want to know if the sound quality good and was the band on. Now that I can hear these guys clearly I feel they are pretty good. This recording is verry good! I would advise the band to realease more of these type of recordings so people like me who don't know you are more likely to give you a chance. Thanks for your indulgence. Bless ya!

Sounds as good as SBD recordings
Not being a big BP fan (only heard 1 or 2 songs on Sirius)I figured I'd check out the highest rated show. WOW!! I was very impressed with the band. The quality sound recording is the cherry on top. I have heard SBD recorded shows that don't sound this good. My complements to the band as well as the taper. I'll be catching these guys when they come around for sure. A must have recording!!

Get This NOW...
I could not agree more with the last review. This recording smokes and the show ain't bad either. As pretty much all BP shows lately have been consistantly Rippin, recordings like this one will greatly help BP's popularity. Not to take away from Scott Schneider's recordings, because his work is top notch as well. To sum it up, if you are on this page and you do not download this show, it is my opinion that you have manure for your brains.

Perfect sound
If BP sounded as good as this mix does at a bar/club, their following would be much larger than it is. Never until now have I been able to interpret the first lyric audibly. But this may be the highest quality sounding recording on the archive. And I'm listening to it through my shitty speakers at work on my computer. This Steele character is a master of his craft. Oh, by the way, get this show. Best representation of of Brothers Past that I've heard.

Duran Duran meets Bill Laswell
Having not listened to these guys too much, I was ripped up by this show/recording. Absolutely ripped up.
Strong 80s-ish pop songs with Laswell style dub/trance/house workouts. There's so much texture here, sometimes it's tough to tell who's playing what--the guitar is making keybaord sounds while the keys are pounding warped basslines and the bassist is dropping fuzz bombs. Seriously, wtf?
A few spotty vocal sections and some lyrics that stray too close to emo-land are my only quibbles with this show. I'm now a converted fan.
As noted, the sound is freaking incredible. Any chance of seeing more of these multitracks here or for sale by the band?

Blazing clarity!
2nd set is really great. Also, the vocals are more in tune than ever. The drums are so cool sounding, and all the guitar and synth effects are in crystal quality. The only thing that I can think of is the bass tone being a little goofy, but thats just my personal take. It seems like his bass tone is way different than normal ( when playing clean, a.k.a no effects pedals ).

Recher was HOT!
After a tiny mic problem was fixed, the show started off with a bang. From the opening notes of Lunar Cycle, the crowd was ready to throw down. As the night progressed you would be hard pressed to find someone not dancing. Pure electricity. To have this gem available as a multi track is the icing on the cake. Download it now, you won't be disappointed!
